My name is Kate and I set up the Pink Ladies Running Club back in 2010. I started running regularly in 2006 when I joined my local Women's Running Network group. Running in a relaxed, friendly group environment made running a pleasurable social event that I looked forward to. Running has become an integral part of my life and now having 3 children I still make time to run 3-4 times a week. Don't worry! I'm no olympic athlete or fanatic; its not about the distance or the time, its about the positive impact this regular exercise has upon my life.
I qualified as a UK Athletics Leader in Running Fitness in 2010 and set up the Pink Ladies running club later that year. Since then I have qualified as a UK Athletics Running Coach and Pilates teacher. I specialise in working with women of all ages and the differences in how we should train.
